A track from The Revs is being used in a new snowboarding movie, called "Snow Bored?". The premier is in November. The track in question is "Time Slippin'", keep an ear out for it.

Drie Ierse jeugdvrienden starten een band met een onbescheiden streven: "to change the face of Irish music." Als ik hen vraag hoe ze dat doen: "Spelen tot je erbij neervalt." Toch nam het drietal begin 2005 een kleine tour-pauze. Zij doken de Zweedse "Cardigans Studio" in om hun eerste Europees gelabelde plaat "The Revs" op te nemen met de producer va o.a. Franz Ferdinand.

2006 - May - 11 - Revs Get Shut Down & Make Rotterdam Headlines
The Revs played an instore which ended up being an outstore in Rotterdam yesterday, May 10th. Local Police shut down the show following chaos in the streets. U2 or What?
Also the Revs play Berlin, Hamburg and Dresden on the 13th,14th and 15th of May along with Two Gallants, The Shout out Louds and The Cooper Temple Clause.

In Ierland zijn ze al een grootheid en afgaande wat The Revs op hun derde cd afleveren zal de rest van Europa weldra volgen. Ze hebben rustig de tijd genomen, The Revs bestaan al dik vijf jaar en leverden in de luwte van het eiland al twee platen af. The Revs Enter German Alternative Single Charts
The Revs enter the German alternative single charts at No.19 with Time Slippin', The Revs self-titled album is available in G.A.S. from April the 28th.
The Revs play the Palladium this weekend on the 9th of April for the 20th Rocknacht alongside Live, Nada Surf and Calexico.

Ceoil 06 - The Revs track "Take it all Back" acoustic agus as Gaelige is available on the album Ceoil 06, the album also features The Waterboys, The Frames, Mundy and Kila to name but a few.

Back in the U.S. of A
The Revs travel State side to play some shows in March.
The Revs have been invited to perform at the Craic Festival in New York as part of the 3 Day music event in the legendary Sin É venue on March the 9th, for more info contact www.thecraicfest.com.
The Revs have also been invited to play at this year SXSW in Austin Texas. The band will perform at the SOHO Lounge on Friday the 17th at 1:00am.

Revs sign G.A.S. Deal
The Revs signed a licencing deal recently for Germany Austria and Swizerland with indie label Haldern-Pop www.haldern-pop.de
The Revs self titled album "The Revs" will be released on April 12th in G.A.S. with a tour to follow in May. The band will go on tour with the Spiegel tent with 3 other acts to be named.

The Revs to kick off Nationwide Tour and launch new single 'Time
Slippin' in Whelan's of Wexford St on Thursday Sept 15th……..
The Revs release 'Time Slippin' the first single
from their highly anticipated new album on Sept 16th and celebrate with
a show in Whelan's on Thursday Sept 15th.
The show, their first in the Dublin area since
their main stage performance at Oxegen is the first in a series of dates
around the country and will mark their return from dates in Amsterdam's
legendary Paradiso (with The Kaiser Chiefs) and Rotterdam's Rotown.
'Time Slippin' will be available
at retail from Sept 16th and is the first commercial release on 'Evelyn',
the Revs own record label. It was mixed by Danton Supple, who produced
Coldplay's Mercury Prize nominated X + Y. Danton has become such a fan
of the band after hearing the new album that he has been driving round
London with the CD on rotated play!!
Fans who await the release of the new single
will be able to enjoy a preview of the accompanying video on MTV on
Sept 10th, which will be aired along with an interview which took place
at a recent London show.
The Revs play Whelan's on Thursday Sept 15th,
with special guests Leya who release their debut album on Rubyworks

The Revs announced for Oxegen on Sunday July 10th. Currently completing a new album which was recorded in Sweden with international
production team Stefan Kvarnstrom and Jens Lingard (Franz Ferdinand, The Cardigans)
The Revs will take time out from the mixing process to play The OXEGEN stage alongside
Foo Fighters, Keane and The Killers.
The new album which marks a huge departure from the Revs previous recordings
will be released Oct 7th and preceded with a single ‘Time Slippin’ on Sept 16th.
Design duties have been undertaken by Steve Averill ensuring the whole package
will emulate the fact that The Revs are a new band!
